Vegius has a Cancellation Policy that covers a variety of circumstances.
Important disclaimer: Vegius will be updating its Cancellation and Refund Policy by the end of 2022 to offer various policies that Hosts can choose from to best align with their goals.
1. FOR GUESTS:
1.1 Before Booking:
Before payment has been submitted and the booking has been confirmed, there is no need for cancellation. The Cancellation Policy applies only after a reservation has been made.
1.2 After Booking:
If the cancellation occurs at least 7 full days before arrival, the Guest receives a full refund, and the Host will not be paid. If the cancellation occurs at least 3 days before arrival, the Guest will be charged the cost of one full night plus 50% for the remaining nights. If the Host cancels on the same day of the reservation but before the check-in time, the Guest will be charged for three full nights plus 50% of the remaining nights, if the stay is longer than 3 nights. If the stay is shorter than 3 nights, the Guest does not receive any refund.
2. FOR HOSTS:
Ethical Hosts are expected to honor any reservation made according to Vegius Policies. However, we understand that there are extenuating circumstances that may prevent them from fulfilling such reservations (natural disasters, etc.). In such cases, Ethical Hosts authorize Vegius to refund Ethical and Ethical-Curious Guests 100% of the money they paid for services not delivered by the Host.
Modification of Terms of Cancellation Policy:
Vegius reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the Terms of the Cancellation Policy, at any time.If we modify these Terms, we will post the change on the Site (as defined below). We will also update the “Last Updated Date” at the top of these Terms. We will provide you with notice of the modifications by email at least thirty (30) days before the date they become effective. If you disagree with the revised Cancellation Policy, you may contact us at [email protected]. If you do not cancel your Vegius account before the date it becomes effective, you are indicating that you accept the modified Cancellation Policy.
